The GP partners are an established team of doctors dedicated to the health and wellbeing of the community that they serve. The surgery has a special interest in medical training and are very proud to help our future medical staff!
We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.
Our Mission Statement
The White House Surgery aims to provide the highest possible healthcare for all of our registered patients in an environment that is safe, accessible, welcoming and well equipped, where patients and staff feel respected, valued and comfortable.
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
Our premises offer full disabled access along with disabled parking. All of our consultation rooms are located on the ground floor.
The PRINCIPLE Trial
The PRINCIPLE trial aims to find treatments for COVID-19 for older people. We want to find medicines that can help people with COVID-19 symptoms get better quickly and stop them needing to go to hospital. The trial is recruiting participants through this website and also through GP practices across the UK. We are taking part in 'GREEN IMPACT'
Green Impact is the National Union of Students' successful sustainability accreditation scheme, that has been running since 2006. Over 200 different organisations now take part, including universities and colleges, local authorities, NHS Trusts and dental practices. For more information, please visit www.nus.org.uk/greenimpact.
The Green Impact for Health programme has been developed in collaboration with the University of Bristol, the RCGP and NHS Health Education South West.
The surgery has been looking at how we can improve access to the Practices services. Doctorlink is a new online service where you can access advice online and be directed to the most appropriate clinician or appointment type.
