Before Travelling:
- Fill in the form as early as possible – at least 12 weeks before you travel
- The nurse will review your health records and advise any vaccinations you may require. You will then be booked an appointment at the practice or if this is not a vaccination we can offer you will be sign-posted to an appropriate local service.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
