Proxy access is where you give consent to allow someone to access and manage part of your GP online services.
Once proxy is put in place, the proxy is given their own access account (rather than using the patients login details).
Proxy access is often used by parents up to the age of Gillet competence, recognised carers of young children and recognised carers of adults.
To set up proxy access, our standard forms are available to complete from reception. You can also enquire about this through our online admin query forms.
Patients should be aware proxy does not need to be a permanent measure. If you have a proxy in place, you can end this by notifying the practice at any time.
