Cervical Screening Saves Lives

Cervical screening helps prevent cervical cancer from developing and saves thousands of lives every year in the UK. If you have received a letter to book an appointment for cervical screening (also known as a smear), please contact the surgery to book an appointment with one of our practice Nurses.   

Attending your appointment is one of the best ways to protect yourself from cervical cancer and it is important that everyone who is eligible attends their appointment as most cases of cervical cancer can be treated if detected early.
